Adrienne and Mike: Oklahoma Visit | Raleigh Couples Photographer
Last month, Jacob, Talah, and I went to visit our great friends, Adrienne and Mike. They moved to Norman, Oklahoma last year and we've missed them ever since! We finally had the opportunity to go visit and had a fabulous time going to museums, seeing the OU campus, trying some of the great restaurants in town, and just hanging out.
Here are a few pictures I took of them while we were there. We miss you!
Here I am being a nerd : )

Senior Spotlight: Ryan | Raleigh High School Seniors Photographer
I had a fun senior session with Ryan. He's a lacrosse player at Panther Creek and was so great at the session, despite having injured his foot the night before in a lacrosse game. He's also a member of DECA and seems like an all-around good guy. He was even game when I said, "Okay, so I have this location in mind. It might seem weird--there's a lot of rust. But it's really cool!" Congratulations, Ryan! I wish you all the best after high school!

Meet Juliette | Raleigh Newborn Photographer
Sweet baby Juliette was such a good girl. She's the truly lovely daughter of my friends, Kate and Ayubu. They already seem like such content and relaxed parents, even at day 4--the day we did this session. There was just so much love in the room and I know it's going to help mold Juliette into a sweet, kind, and beautiful person. Congratulations!
I had to include the one above because UB had just gotten a little surprise (see his shirt). He was such a good sport about it. That's real life, right?

Nice Shades! ; ) | Raleigh Boutique Photographer
I am so thankful and happy that my wonderful friend Tory has moved back to North Carolina. And this time she's only 3 miles from my house!
I wanted to take a moment to spotlight her because she makes incredible custom lampshades and you need to check it out! She sells shades she's already created on Etsy, but she can also take custom orders so that you can pick out the fabric of your choice, along with the shape of the shade and the size, and she'll make it especially for you.
And if you're an interior designer, consider commisioning Tory for your next project. She's a consumate professional and has been hired for everything from individual homes to boutique hotel rooms to weddings (how cool is that? You could have a bunch of custom lampshades hanging at your reception! Especially if they were hanging from branches at night--super cool).
