New Blog | Raleigh Photographer

The time has finally come for me to get a new blog. This one should be easier on the eyes because it's specifically for photographers. It will also be easier for me to categorize posts and keep a cleaner look. Please check it out and subscribe to my new feed!

Holiday Minis Part Five | Raleigh Family Photographer

Oh, my goodness. I'm SO behind on blogging. With all of the holiday orders and cards I've been doing, I've let the blogging slip. Whoops. I have much more to blog in the next couple of weeks, but for now, here is another lovely family from the holiday mini sessions.

Holiday Minis 2010 Part Four

Look at these two : ) I'm so glad I got to photograph these twins again so soon for their holiday session. They were really happy at the same time for only about 5% of the session, but they were cute and entertaining 100% of the session : )

Lollipop | Raleigh Children's Photographer

My sweet girl : ) She was so excited to get the lollipop that she broke it in half when trying to remove the plastic.

Talah's diaper is showing here, but I don't care. I love it anyway. Jacob's got the other half of the lollipop : )

Mary + David | Raleigh Wedding Photographer

Mary and David got married on a beautiful morning in Raleigh, North Carolina, at The Angus Barn. The weather was perfect, and so were all the details at the wedding, from the gorgeous flowers and antique typewriter to the southern ham biscuits and mac n' cheese. It was so sweet to see Mary and David with the pre-ceremony nerves that everyone gets--even after being together for several years. Watching them throughout the day, it was clear that they were meant to be together and that their happiness will continue to grow in the years to come.

Congratulations!

Halloween 2010 | Raleigh Family Photographer

Last year was Talah's first year trick or treating, but this year was the first year she was looking forward to it and really understood that candy would be coming her way. Oh, how excited she got! She was thrilled to be a mermaid princess and loved her tail. She even started singing a song about Halloween that I've never heard before. I think she was making it up : )

Here's Jacob after he put fake blood on himself and approached Talah. She knew it was him, so she wasn't afraid. I liked how she looked pretty innocent in the second picture, as she adjusted her crown, but immediately in the next shot she whirled around and tried to whip him with her necklace strand. You can see it start to encircle his staff. By the way, Jacob loves Halloween and also loves scaring kids. He chased some (older/sassier) kids in our neighborhood and rarely has he looked so elated.
