Mary + David | Raleigh Wedding Photographer

Mary and David got married on a beautiful morning in Raleigh, North Carolina, at The Angus Barn. The weather was perfect, and so were all the details at the wedding, from the gorgeous flowers and antique typewriter to the southern ham biscuits and mac n' cheese. It was so sweet to see Mary and David with the pre-ceremony nerves that everyone gets--even after being together for several years. Watching them throughout the day, it was clear that they were meant to be together and that their happiness will continue to grow in the years to come.

Congratulations!

Holly + Jason | Raleigh Wedding Photographer

I was so thrilled to second shoot this wedding with Julie Lindsey. She's not just a great photographer, she's a great person (...like all the way through to her core!).

Here are a few images from Holly and Jason's wedding.

Simply Bloom Workshop | Raleigh Wedding Photographer

Back in April, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Simply Bloom Workshop. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I'm just now getting around to posting the images because things have been crazy! I've been a huge admirer of Christine's and Vania's work, so when the workshop opened up, I simply couldn't miss it. If you haven't visited their site, you're in for a treat. They are so creative and have a true gift, as well as the blessing of being to work together as best friends. It was fantastic to be able to learn from these two who are so talented and so sweet. If you are a photographer reading this, I would definitely recommend that you attend the next workshop that opens up!

One of the things we did during the workshop, was shoot real-life couple Kristian and Skyler. Yeah, so they're not bad looking...
