Breyana is a senior at Green Hope High School. We spent a fun afternoon doing this session, where I learned more about her and her experience in pageants and plans for the future. Enjoy your last year of high school, Breyana! : )

B: I would love to live in Hollywood about one-hundred years from now.
JA: Who is your role model?
B: My role model would be my friend Susan who passed away a few years ago. She was a very strong and amazing person and always knew how to make people smile.
JA: What is your favorite clothing store?
B: Buckle. Buckle's clothing is a great image of my personality with the unique designs and colors.

Meet Maria. She's a rising senior at Cary High School. She's fun, she's artistic, and she's got a great sense of style. Her clothes were all of my favorite colors, so I have to assume that she also shares a love for the tertiary colors : )
I asked Maria to answer a few questions for me, so here we go!
JA: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? M: I would travel to India because the culture and people are fascinating to me.
JA: Who are your favorite bands/singers? M: I cannot name a single band or singer but a few of my favorites as of now are NeverShoutNever and Dispatch.
JA: What is your favorite meal?

JA: What is on the walls in your room?

M: My dream job, as of now, is to be a glassblower and have my own studio.
JA: Where would you like to go to art school?

This little field was full of grasshoppers. Every time we took a step, a swarm of them would go jumping : ) This rocking chair has been in my family for years. I was happy to be able to use it in this shoot.
JA: If you could do one thing to make the world a better place, what would it be?
M: I would rid the world of child labor and mistreatment.
As you may have noticed, Maria is an artist, so what better way to celebrate that than to capture that on camera?
Maria, I had a fabulous time with you. Your gallery will be ready soon!
Here are a few pictures of Nic, the model who worked with us on this newborn session in Omaha. He was great with the babies and was a good sport, even after experiencing a few "surprises" while working with naked babies (hint: it includes both #1 and #2). Nic, thanks for being professional and pleasant the whole time!
I had a fun senior session with Ryan. He's a lacrosse player at Panther Creek and was so great at the session, despite having injured his foot the night before in a lacrosse game. He's also a member of DECA and seems like an all-around good guy. He was even game when I said, "Okay, so I have this location in mind. It might seem weird--there's a lot of rust. But it's really cool!" Congratulations, Ryan! I wish you all the best after high school!
