When Gail contacted me and said she wanted to take some pictures for her kids, I thought it was the sweetest thing ever. I know her kids are going to love having pictures of her, especially when they know it was done just for them. We incorporated some items that were personal and represented her kids (like the football and the candle and goblet handmade by her daughter). She's got a very cool rocker look going and I loved her flaming red hair. Doesn't it just pop?

It's that time of year! September is FULLY BOOKED but I have scheduled mini sessions for Saturday, October 10th. Contact me right away to secure your place!

Is a mini session right for you? Mini sessions are best for those who have already had a full session recently and are simply wanting some updated photos for holiday cards and gifts (and for your own home, of course!). Because of the shorter session, wardrobe changes are not possible during a mini session. Those wanting a full session (1 1/2-2 hours) at a location of your choosing should contact me to book a full session.

Here's the scoop on the minis:

Holiday Mini Sessions

Date: Saturday, October 10th 2009 (rain date October 17th, 2009)

Times: 9-11am and 1-5pm (sessions are scheduled on the hour and half hour)

Location: Urban Downtown Raleigh (more specific information will be given to those who book sessions)

Length of Mini Session: Approximately 20 minutes

Details:
-Your viewing gallery will include 10 fully edited, handcrafted images from which to choose
-50 press-printed 4x6 or 5x7 holiday cards (with your choice of photo(s) and wording) and envelopes
-$100 print credit for use on other products, including prints, gallery-wrapped canvas, additional cards (in increments of 25 only) and more

Price:
$275 + NC sales tax

It was a perfect evening at the Raleigh Rose Garden and Ava Grace was on her best behavior, even though we were approaching her bedtime. It was fun seeing her enjoying the atmosphere and looking at the running water of the fountain. Such a sweet baby--and very much loved, as you'll see here. Father's Day will be here before we know it, so it's time for some mini sessions! Give Dad something really special--a beautiful portrait of the people he loves best!

Father's Day Mini Sessions
-Saturday, June 6th between 12pm-5pm in downtown Raleigh (email me for more location details)
-20-30 minutes per session
-$75 for up to 4 people (includes 1 free 5x7 print with your print order)
-10 images to choose from in your private gallery
-Print order will be ready for pickup in time for Father's Day

Dawn's Bridal Session | Raleigh Wedding Photographer

Dawn's fiance (now husband!) works at the fire department at the airport, so she thought it would be a nice surprise for him if she did a bridal session there. We snuck on over and everyone at the station was so good about keeping it a secret! I loved that the planes were flying by during our session. I'm sure there's a metaphor in there somewhere : )

Senior Spotlight: Ryan | Raleigh High School Seniors Photographer

I had a fun senior session with Ryan. He's a lacrosse player at Panther Creek and was so great at the session, despite having injured his foot the night before in a lacrosse game. He's also a member of DECA and seems like an all-around good guy. He was even game when I said, "Okay, so I have this location in mind. It might seem weird--there's a lot of rust. But it's really cool!" Congratulations, Ryan! I wish you all the best after high school!
